Astrid spent twelve years as lead designer at the Royal Danish Court before starting Innovaflor Atelier in 2017.
We craft quiet
floral mastery.
Innovaflor Atelier began as a small studio in a converted bakery and has grown into a global reference for thoughtful, sustainable floristry education.
Our story
Founded by Astrid Lang and Elias Voss after a decade working in Nordic design houses, Innovaflor Atelier started with one belief: floral design should be slow, intentional, and deeply connected to the seasons.
Our first workshop gathered twelve students in a sunlit attic. Today we host cohorts from twenty-three countries and have trained over 1,800 professional florists through our signature twelve-week immersion.
From hand-gathered moss in Finnish forests to responsibly sourced tulips from the Netherlands, every stem we touch follows a strict ethical code that we teach in every course.
What we stand for
Three principles guide every decision at Innovaflor Atelier.
Work with what grows.
We teach students to design exclusively with what is abundant and local at any given moment, eliminating waste at the source.
Less, but better.
Negative space, restrained palettes and precise scale are core to the Scandinavian aesthetic we champion across all curricula.
Design that lasts.
Our graduates go on to create arrangements for institutions and collectors that remain relevant for years, never days.
The team
Four practitioners shaping the future of floristry education.
